Presents a detailed analysis of the nature and origin of the gold deposits. The auriferous bodies form surprisingly constant layers of mineralized conglomerate called "Banket" averaging between 2 and 7 feet in thickness. Two theories of origin have been advanced, placer and hydrothermal.
