Distribution of Witwatersrand uraninite

In connection with points raised in discussion by C. F. Davidson relative to the origin origin of the Witwatersrand ores (South Africa), suggests that the materials forming the ore-bearing conglomerates and the coarse-grained quartzites of the upper Witwatersrand system were derived from different source areas.
