Temperatures of calcite deposition in the Upper Mississippi Valley lead-zinc deposits

A. J. Erickson

Fluid-inclusion temperatures of calcite, formed toward end of paragenetic sequence, fall in the range 74-46 degrees C, uncorrected for pressure. The temperature declined during the successive stages of calcite deposition.
