Age of ore lead in Scandinavia [discussion]

Lead-isotope data for Scandinavian lead ores are too ambiguous to support or refute Hernes' (1967) arguments for a Hercynian age (late Paleozoic). Geologic evidence indicates an early Paleozoic age for deposits of the central Caledonides. (For reference to the paper under discussion, see this Bibliography Vol. 31, No. 4, 02 E67-02445.)
